Laura Prichett, PhD, MHS
Laura Prichett is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and a Faculty Lead with the Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Data Management (BEAD) Core at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Prichett’s work focuses on suicide prevention research, specifically gender and racial disparities in mental health treatment initiation among adolescents in primary care. She advises investigators throughout Johns Hopkins on methods and best practices in study design using EMR, administrative and longitudinal data. As a Lead for the BEAD Core, she has guided study teams in the implementation of a wide range complex research methodologies, such as multi-level mixed regression analysis, longitudinal analysis, and survival analysis.
