Liz Szymanski

Research Assistant

Liz Szymanski is currently pursuing her Master’s in Health Science (MHS) in Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her focus is on Clinical Trials and Evidence Synthesis, and she is pursuing a certificate in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety. She received her B.A. in Neuroscience from Oberlin College in 2023. Liz’s academic interests include clinical trial methodology, data management, and pharmacological research. Some of her current and former projects include mapping RNA spatial transcriptomics data onto neurohistological tissue samples, analyzing the effect of blood cadmium levels on the likelihood of kidney failure diagnosis, and suicide prevention research.
